Occidental is a private investment company with focused investment activities that are international in scope. We partner with other private offices and high net worth individuals. Our allocations consist entirely of private investments which are the result of the network we continue to build, and the value we can provide.

We understand the complexities and intricacies of arbitraging a narrowly focused set of physical commodities to deliver exceptional value for our investor partners. International market intelligence combined with operational support on every transaction has positioned the company as a reliable arbitrageur of gold and refined petroleum products. Arbitrage is the simultaneous purchase and sale of an asset to profit from a difference in the price. Quite simply, arbitrage exists as a result of market inefficiencies. We only arbitrage physical commodities, and do not broker commodities, trade or hold derivatives, exchange traded gold funds (ETFs) or publicly traded mining shares.
With metals trading accounts in the US and the United Arab Emirates, we hold a continuous customs bond issued by the US Customs and Border Protection Division of the Department of Homeland Security. This enables us to import gold without restrictions into the US.

Occidental expects employees and directors to take all responsible steps to prevent violations, to identify and raise potential issues before they lead to problems, and to seek additional guidance when necessary.
STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
All employees and directors have an obligation to act in the best interests of Occidental; avoid conflicts of interest and corruption, provide timely and accurate information to shareholders; maintain all confidential information in strict confidence; and endeavor to deal fairly with Occidental’s counter-parties, suppliers, competitors and employees.
ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING
It is the policy of Occidental to prohibit and actively prevent money laundering and any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities. That is why our transactions all comply with applicable requirements under (a) The Drug Trafficking Act of 1986, (b) The Criminal Act of 1988, (c) The Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act of 1989, (d) The Criminal Justice (International Cooperation) Act of 1990, (e) The Criminal Justice Act of 1993, (f) The Anti-Terrorism Act and the Patriot Act I and II (as amended), international regulations and the Currency and Foreign Transactions Reporting Act (aka the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970) and its implemented regulations.
Our AML policies, procedures and internal controls are designed to ensure compliance with all applicable Patriot Act, BSA regulations, FINRA rules, and international regulations. We review and update our AML policies on a regular basis to ensure that appropriate policies, procedures and internal controls are in place to account for both changes in regulations and changes in our business.
